Post-event blog: Docuflow exhibits at digitech19, the UK’s largest gathering of public sector tech specialists

Docuflow was delighted to be an exhibitor at digitech19, which took place on Tuesday 19 November. The event organised by Public Sector Connect in partnership with Crown Commercial Service, saw over 500 public sector technology and technology procurement professionals converge upon Manchester.

The event was specially created to share best practice in public sector organisations and showcase the solutions on offer from expert providers from SMEs to global entities. The eventful day consisted of symposiums, presentations and seminars on a host of subjects including 5G, continuous learning, cyber security and smart cities.

Hearing the UK’s leading technology experts delivering sessions on best practice technology procurement, advice on how to deal with key suppliers, and exploring multi-supplier delivery made digitech19 a must-visit event for Docuflow. Events like these, which are informative and which also provide a great space to network should be occurring with more frequency in the UK.

Building on the success of its debut event last year, digitech19 is now an annual event that has seen attendee and exhibitor attendance grow exponentially.

The day’s proceedings began with an incisive panel debate featuring Georgina Maratheftis, Head of Local Public Services, techUK; John Jackson, CEO, London Grid for Learning and others. Throughout the day, talks, presentations and more plenary sessions followed, leaving fellow exhibitors enlightened and informed about the state of digital transformation in the UK and beyond.

Chris Rowlands, Director at Docuflow said:

“digitech19 is undoubtedly one of the UK’s largest gatherings of public sector technology specialists. To be in stellar company of like-minded individuals who see the potential of digital transformation was exciting and a great way to spend the day.

“We partnered with XMedius whose product XM SendSecure has given our clients peace of mind to conduct business safely and securely.

“Exhibiting at digitech19 is more than sharing best practice; it is also about championing digital transformation whilst making connections and building successful partnerships. I am already looking forward to next year’s event.”

Gary Baker, Regional Sales Manager (UK & I) at XMedius said:

“It was great to exhibit at digitech19 with our partner Docuflow. We were able to demonstrate the benefits of our XM SendSecure file transfer and encryption solution to the public sector, in an era where Government organisations have become increasingly aware of the vulnerable nature of traditional methods of communication such as e-mail and post. We are looking forward to following up the positive conversations we had on the day and working with UK Government departments with their focus on digital security and digital transformation.
